Along the main road (back down the sleep slope) only 20 metres on is Maria’s supermarket. It has the best prices and a good selection of local fruit and vegetables. Just up the road, also on the right, before the Bar Manhattan, is Concetta’s shop. She used to work for Maria and then set up on her own. Sometimes she has slightly different brands and she also has what we believe is the best bread baked by “Nonno Enrico” bakery in Santa Maria.
